Jeffrey Chong Wang

Jeffrey Chong Wang, an artist hailing from Beijing but currently based in Canada, has embarked on a globetrotting journey of artistic exploration. He enriched his creative sensibilities through extensive education and training in Florence, France, and New York, ultimately culminating in the attainment of a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree from the New York Academy of Art in 2009.

Wang's artistic expression is a captivating fusion of personal introspection and surrealist visions, executed with a refined and realistic pictorial technique. His work serves as a conduit for narrating the stories of everyday life in China, interwoven with nods to the country's complex history. With meticulous attention to detail, Wang portrays realistic figures, inviting viewers to peer through windows, glimpse into homes, and enter the private spaces of his characters.
